Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates having a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible for the programme. 
• Candidates who have qualifications like UGC NET (JRF), UGC CSIR NET (JRF), teacher fellowship, or any foreign/government. research fellowship, or M.Phil. with course work will not have appeared for the doctoral entrance exam (VU DET).

Selection Criteria 

• Candidates will have to qualify for the doctoral entrance exam conducted by the university (VU DET). 
• In the second, candidates will be interviewed by the Research Advisory Committee (RAC). Once the candidate is approved by the Research Advisory Committee (RAC), they will be granted admission to the programme.
