Ravenshaw University Admission Process 2026

Online Application 

• Go to the university’s website. The link to the website is @ravenshawuniversity.ac.in.
• Register yourself as a new user.

• Once the form is complete, submit it and pay the Rs. 500 application fee.

Ravenshaw University offers a PhD programme in twenty specializations, including biology, English, Urdu, education, chemistry, geology, and economics. 

Candidates must fill out a PhD registration and application form on the university website and pay a Rs 2000/- fee before submitting the form. The admission fee for the PhD programme is Rs 10,000/- and the total PhD programme fee is Rs 35,000/-. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Interested applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant field with all the required subjects. 
• Candidates qualified for the UGC NET, UGC CSIR, GATE, CEED, or any other equivalent national-level exam will be directly called for an interview. 
• Candidates having an M.Phil. degree with 55% minimum aggregate marks are also qualified to sit for the interview. 

Selection criteria 

• Ravenshaw University conducts a research eligibility test (RET) to get admission into the PhD program. An admissions interview will also take place after the written exam. Candidates can check the exam date and time on the university website. 
• The entrance exam consists of MCQ-type questions with 100 marks. The exam duration is 2 hours. The question paper will focus 50% on research methodology and the other 50% on the relevant subject.
