    Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2025-26 Eligibility Criteria 

    The eligibility criteria to apply for different levels of SV MCM scholarships differ from one another. 

    Eligibility criteria for a UG-level scholarship

    • Candidates applying for a higher secondary level scholarship or UG level scholarship must make sure to score 60% minimum aggregate marks in their previous qualifying examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, or Madrasa Education

    If the candidate is passing out in 2020 or earlier, then the minimum aggregate marks must be 75%. 

    • Candidates applying for UG-level scholarships must have a minimum score of 60% from AICTE-approved institutions in diploma courses. The institutions must be affiliated with WBSCT&VE&SD or state medical faculty. 

    If the candidate is passing out in 2020 or earlier, then the minimum aggregate marks must be 75%. 

    Eligibility criteria for a PG-level scholarship

    • For general education, candidates applying for PG-level scholarships must acquire 53% aggregate marks in UG programmes from a recognised state university. 
    • For engineering, pharmacy, or technology, candidates applying for a PG-level scholarship must acquire 55% marks in the UG programme from a state university or university approved by AICTE. 

    For doctoral programmes 

    • Candidates pursuing doctoral programmes and M.Phil. programs will come into the sphere of the SV MCM scholarship scheme.
