What is the SRM University Admission Process 2026?

Online Application

 In order to fill out online application forms, candidates need to follow the given steps:

• Visit the official website of SRM University. The university link is here @https://www.srmist.edu.in/.
• Start the process by registering yourself.
• Once registered, log in to your account with a password and email ID.
• Fill in the details asked for in the application form.
• Complete the application process by paying the application fee and submitting the form.
• The application fee at SRM University is Rs 1200/-, and it can be paid either online or by demand draft. 
• Print out the application form for future reference. Candidates might need the application number at the time of admission. 

Offline Application

 Refer to the steps given below to fill out the offline application form: 

• Candidates must purchase the application form from the university office, or they can print out the online application form as well. 
•  Candidates must inquire about the courses for which offline application forms can be filled out. 
•  Fill out the offline form and pay the fee through Demand Draft.
•  Finally, complete the application process.

Entrance exam 

• The university conducts entrance exams for UG, PG, and doctoral programs.
• National-level exams are accepted for courses in B.tech, MBBS, and MBA. Exams by SRMJEEE, SRMJEEM, and SRMJEEH are conducted to shortlist candidates for different classes.

SRM University Admission 2026-27 (Started)

Candidates must check out the official website and explore the admission portal to apply for the courses that align best with their personal interests and future goals. 

For the B-Tech programme, the students are selected based on their SRMJEEE exam scores. Admission for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course is going on for session 2026-27.

SRM University UG Admission 2026

SRM University offers undergraduate courses like B.Tech, B.Sc., BA, etc. in various fields, such as management, sciences, law, and arts.

For admissions, the university conducts entrance exams and interviews. Candidates must fill out forms for their respective courses and entrance exams on the official website. 

The fee structure of the Bachelor’s program ranges from Rs 50,000/- to Rs 25,00,000/- per year, depending upon the course and specialization. 

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

Automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, biomedical engineering, CSE, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence are some specialisations offered in bachelor of technology courses. 

The university conducts the SRMJEEE exam to shortlist candidates for the course. If students are interested in learning more about the B.Tech program, they can visit the university’s official website. 

Bachelor’s of Arts (BA)

SRM University PG Admission 2026

SRM University promotes several postgraduate programmes, including MBA, M.Tech, MA, etc., for all aspiring students. For the MBA programme, the university conducts the SRMJEEM exam to shortlist candidates.  

The fee structure of the Master’s course is approximately Rs 60,000—Rs 6,00,000 per year, depending on the courses and specialisation. 

Master’s of Technology (M.Tech)

A Master of Technology is a full-time postgraduate degree at SRM University under the engineering and technology department. The specialisations offered under the Master’s programme are aerospace engineering, biotechnology, cloud computing, electric vehicle technology, and many more.

Master’s of Arts (MA) 

The MA programme is a two-year postgraduate degree at SRM University available in English specialization. The course deals with in-depth knowledge of the respective subjects and builds several skills, such as communication and critical analysis.

Master’s of Business Administration (MBA)

SRM University PhD Program Admission 2026

SRM University offers research programmes like  M.Phil. and PhD. The PhD programme is available full-time and part-time.

Doctoral studies are available across specializations like management, sciences and humanities, engineering and technology, and medical and health sciences.

Talking about MPhil programmes are available in physical education, education, clinical psychology, and psychiatric social work. 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates who have completed a master’s or PG diploma in the relevant field can apply for the PhD programme. 
• Candidates with a master’s degree in their respective fields and 50%–55% minimum marks are eligible for an M.Phil. 

Selection Criteria 

• Candidates are selected on the basis of the entrance exam, SRMJEEH (PG), and previous qualifying examination marks.
