Lucknow University Admission Process 2024

Online and Offline Application Mode

Sometimes the application process can be pretty confusing and hectic. So, to get rid of all your confusion, here is a step-by-step guide to filling out an application form for Lucknow University both online and online modes. 

Online Application

To fill out the form online mode a candidate needs to follow the steps given below- 

• Visit the official website of Lucknow University
• Generate the Lucknow University registration number by filling out the form given on the admission page.
• Once the form is filled the candidate will receive an OTP, enter the OTP, and pay a 100 rupees fee. 
• The candidate will now receive LURN on the registered email ID and mobile number.
• Print out a copy of the generated LURN.  
• All the details provided by the candidate in the LURN form will automatically reflect in the application form of the candidate. 
• Candidates can now easily fill out the form and apply for the program they are interested in. 
• Provide all the correct details and upload the scanned picture and signature. 
• Preview the application, submit the application form, and pay the fee. 
• Make sure you print out the application form which will be needed later on. 

Offline Application

 Candidates can fill out the application form offline by following all the steps given below-

• A candidate first has to go to the official website of Amity University Patna. 
• Print out the application form and fill the form carefully. 
• Make sure you are providing all the right details while filling out the form as there is no backspace to undo the mistake when filling the form offline. 
• Take all the important documents and attach them to the form. 
• Visit the university campus to submit the form and pay the application fee in the prescribed mode.

Once the form is submitted the candidates will receive updates on their email ID and active phone number. 

Necessary Documents

Here is a list of all the required documents and details needed at the time of form submission.

• LURN- Lucknow University registration number (Generated from Lucknow University website).
• An email ID
• Aadhar Number 
• An active phone number
• Scanned photo of the candidate
• Scanned signature of the candidate
• An ID proof
• EWS certificate ( for candidates belonging to economically weaker sections) 
• Category certificate ( for candidates coming from reserved category backgrounds)
• Income certificate
• All the mark sheets and certificates of intermediate.

Entrance Exam

• The entrance exam will be conducted after the application forms are submitted and the portal is closed. 

Qualifications

• All the candidates are advised to provide all the correct qualification details to avoid any kind of hindrance in the admission process. Candidates must also check the eligibility criteria for the program they want to apply for. 

Admit card

• Admit cards will be released before the entrance exam and candidates can download the admit card from the official website. Admit cards should be carried to the examination hall otherwise, entry will be denied. 

Result of Entrance Exam 

• Once the entrance examination process is over the result will be declared shortly and candidates can check the result on the official website. You can download the scoreboard and evaluate your performance. 

Seat Allotment 

• Seat allotment will take place after the merit list is declared. The merit list will be prepared based on entrance exam performance and marks obtained in intermediate. 

Fee Payment

• Once the seats are allotted, the candidates are required to pay the program fee to confirm their admission and enrollment in the particular program.

Lucknow University Admission 2024-25 (Ongoing)

Lucknow University has started the registration process for various programmes at the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels such as BA, BCom, BSc, LLB, BSc, MBA, MEd, M.P.ED, and many more for session 2024-25. 17 July 2024 is the last date to submit the filled application form for Lucknow University Admission 2024-25.

Students who wish to apply for admission must complete the application form and pay the Rs 800/- registration fee for General, EWS, and OBC, and Rs 400/- for others. So, do not waste any more time and apply as soon as possible by visiting @lkouniv.ac.in.

Lucknow University UG Admission 2024

Lucknow University fresh registration is going on for various programmes such as BCA, BBA, BA, and BSc, at Undergradute (UG) level programmes for session 2024-25. 05 July 2024 is the last date to fill out the online registration form for Lucknow University UG Admission 2024.  

Lucknow University provides you with various UG courses in BBA, B.Tech, B.sc, BCA, B.sc, B.com and many more. To apply for an undergraduate program at Lucknow University one should hold a 10+2 mark sheet from a reputable university with a 60% for general and OBC category, and 55% for SC/ST category.  The candidates have to pay a basic enrollment fee of rupees 1000/- at the time of admission. 

To complete the admission process, candidates have to pay a certain amount of fees for their desired undergraduate course, fees of which at the university range between Rs 26,080/- and Rs 40,580/-. The university also provides placement opportunities to students with the highest package, which is Rs 23.61 LPA approx.

The selection of the candidates is based on the LU UGET( Lucknow University undergraduate entrance test) the admission forms for the academic year 2024-25 are available online on the official website and the last date to apply for admission is 05 July 2024, candidates must check their eligibility before filling the LU UGET form.

Bachelor of technology (B.Tech)

Bachelor’s of Technology is a UG course available at Lucknow University under the faculty of engineering. Admission to the program is given based on marks scored in the JEE exam. The course is always in high demand because of its technical and skill-oriented approach. Candidates coming from a science background with mathematics subjects are qualified to apply for the course. 

Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA)

The BBA program offered by Lucknow University under the Institute of Management Sciences is a three-year-long course. Candidates coming from any academic background are qualified to apply for the program. And the registration for the Bachelor of Business Administration course for session 2024-25. 05 July 2024 is the deadline to enrol for Lucknow University BBA Admission 2024. 

Bachelors of commerce  (BCom)

Lucknow University offers a B.com program under the faculty of commerce. There are three different ways through which you can pursue the B.com program B.com ( Regular), B.com (Self Finance), and B.com ( Hons). The fee varies depending on how you want to pursue the program. 

Bachelors of Arts (BA)

Lucknow University offers bachelor’s of arts programs in numerous specializations such as English, Hindi, psychology, jyotir vigan, Economics, geography, and many more. The three-year-long UG program offers so much depth to the subject and enriches students with an abundance of knowledge in their chosen subject. 

Bachelor of Science (BSc)

The three-year-long bachelor’s program is a choice for many science students out there. Candidates coming from science with math/biology backgrounds have multiple options to choose from including statistics, geology, astronomy, zoology, botany, anthropology, and many more. They will be able to understand the subject with more clarity and practicality. 

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Bachelor’s of Computer Applications is a three-year undergraduate program offered by Lucknow University under the faculty of engineering. The course deals with subjects like C programming, fundamentals of computer, multimedia systems and many more. All the candidates who have completed their 12 grade with math and computer/IT subjects are eligible to enrol in the program. 

Bachelors of Pharmacy  (B.Pharma)

Lucknow University offers a B.pharma program under the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for all aspiring candidates wanting to take admission in the course. Candidates coming from science with mathematics or Biology background are qualified to apply for the course at Lucknow University. 

Lucknow University PG Admission 2024

Lucknow University PG Admission 2024-25 deadline to apply is 17 July 2024. Lucknow University provides many PG courses including M.Com, MBA, M.sc, M.ped, LLM, MTTM, and more. To apply for any postgraduate course at Lucknow University candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree from a reputable university with 50% for general and OBC category and 45% for SC/ST category, the percentage can vary for different courses, according to the program they are applying for. 

Candidates need to pay an enrollment fee of INR 1000/- at the time of admission. Lucknow University has certain fees for its master’s program, which range from Rs 30,000/- to Rs 90,000/- approx. The university also provides top placements to its students by placing them in top-tier companies and organizations with the highest package of Rs 23.61 LPA approx

Master of Business Administration (MBA) 

Lucknow University MBA Admission 2024-25 last date to apply is 17 July 2024. To pursue the Master of Business Administration program at Lucknow University a candidate is required to sit for the Lucknow University Management entrance test (LUMET)  and a personal interview. In the merit list, the written test is given a weightage of 70%, and the personal interview is given a weightage of 30%.

The university offers the MBA program in different specializations like human resources international business marketing and control finance and accounting. 

Master of Sciences (MSc)

M.Sc is a PG program encouraged by Lucknow University. There are various specializations available including biotechnology, biostatistics, environmental science geology, forensic science, microbiology, molecular and human genetics, renewable energy zoology, and many more. The university offers specializations that are not commonly offered by other universities. 

Masters of Commerce (MCom)

Master’s of Commerce is a 2-year long course available at Lucknow University under the faculty of commerce. Candidates coming from a commerce academic background are eligible to apply for the program. A candidate must also qualify for the eligibility criteria required to enrol in the course. 

Master of Arts (MA)

The university offers a master of Arts program under the faculty of Arts. The two-year-long PG program can be pursued in different specializations like economics, English, French geography, Hindi, mathematics, philosophy, public administration, psychology, women’s studies, Western history, and many more.

The fee of the course depends upon the specialization you have chosen to pursue the program in.

Lucknow University PhD Admission 2024

The basic eligibility criteria for PhD admission is to have completed post-graduation in the field of research. The university encourages PhD programs in different fields including commerce, law, arts, engineering and technology, education, science, and fine arts. 

Anyone interested in pursuing a PhD program from Lucknow University must have a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks (for the unreserved category) and 50% marks ( for the reserved category). 

The admission will be given based on entrance exam tests conducted by the university and Interviews.
