LPU Admission Process 2024-25

Online LPUNEST Application 

For candidates wanting to fill out application forms online you need to follow the given steps properly – 

• You have to first visit the university website. 
• Explore the homepage and click on the “admissions” option. 
• Tap on the “apply now “ option and register yourself.
• Then start filling out the details asked on the form. 
• Upload all the required documents. 
• You have to choose the slot, venue, date and time for LPUNEST.
• Submit the required application fee online and continue.
• Download the admit card and carry it on the exam day. 

Offline LPUNEST  Application

Candidates who want to fill out the offline application form need to follow the given procedure- 

• You have to first go to the University campus
• Pay the required LPUNEST application form fee. 
• Read all the instructions carefully.
• Fill out the application form properly without making any mistake.
• Now you have to send your application form to the university address in a self-addressed envelope. 

Required Documents and Details

It is advised to keep all the required documents ready before filling out the LPUNEST application form to avoid any kind of last-minute rush. Here are all the documents that you will need at the time of registration- 

• Class X Marksheet
• Class XII Marksheet
• A valid Email ID address
• A valid phone number
• Scanned passport-size photographs 
• Aadhaar card or PAN card

Entrance exam

• Lovely Professional University conducts a lovely professional University National Entrance and Scholarship test (LPUNEST) for multiple courses like MBA, engineering law and many more.
• Based on this entrance exam performance candidates can get scholarships up to rupees 6.8 lakhs (Average). 

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet all the qualification requirements to enrol in the course of their choice. It is recommended to check the eligibility criteria for every course before applying for it. 

Admit card

• At the time of filling out the application form, you will be asked to choose this lot venue date and time for the exam. Once you have chosen all of these four things you can download the LPU NEST admit card. 

Entrance exam Result

• The results are usually announced after two or three days of the entrance exam. Refer to your admit card for details like the application form number and password to log into your account and check your result. 

Seat Allotment

• The seats will be allocated based on marks scored in the LPUNEST exam by a candidate. Based on the marks the rank of an individual will be determined. 

Fee submission

• Once the seat allotment is done a candidate will have to deposit an initial fee of Rs 20,000/- to confirm the seat along with all the necessary documents. The remaining fee should be submitted in the prescribed timelines. 

LPU Admission 2024-25 (Going On)

Every year, students apply for the LPUNEST exam and appear for the exam in different phases. The LPUNEST exam is conducted by the university to provide admissions and scholarships to their students. The LPUNEST exam takes place in different phases.

As of 15 May 2024, four phases of the LPUNEST exam have been completed, and the results have been announced. Lovely Professional University UG Admission 2024 

Lovely Professional University presents several options for undergraduate courses before the students from which they can choose according to their interest, and desire. The undergraduate courses offered include B.Tech, BAJMC, BBA, B. Pharma, B.P.T, B.Sc, B.Com, and many more. These undergraduate courses include differentiated disciplines and specializations. 

Admission to these undergraduate courses is both merit and entrance-based, where students have to score qualifying marks in the relevant stream, and they also have to clear the entrance test with a valid score.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

LPU B.Tech Admission 2024-25 Last date to submit the application form is 31 July 2024. The fresh registration is going on for the Bachelor of Technology course at Lovely Professional University from 10 May 2024. Those who are waiting to enrol can do so by visiting @admission.lpu.in.

At Lovely Professional University you will get over the specialisations available under BTech courses such as automobile engineering, chemical engineering, food Technology, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, information technology, robotics & automation,  electronic & communication engineering and many more. B. Tech is a 4-year undergraduate course encouraged by LPU. Candidates wanting to excel in the field of Engineering &  Technology are welcome to enrol in the course. 

Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA)

LPU offers a Bachelor of Business Administration program in specializations like tourism & hospitality and airline & airport management. Industry-related knowledge will be taught to candidates depending upon the specialisation of a candidate. The university also offers integrated BBA and MBA for interested individuals. The duration of the course is 4 years and it is divided into 4 semesters and 8 terms. 

Bachelor of Science (BSc)

Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate course encouraged by Lovely Professional University in specializations like film and TV production, design and multimedia, design & gaming and others. Candidates are free to choose their specializations according to their interests. 

Bachelor of pharmacy (B.Pharma)

B.Pharma is available at LPU for candidates wanting to make a career in the field of pharmacy. Pharmacy is an integral part of our healthcare industry. Throughout the course, the students will obtain comprehensive knowledge about the healthcare and pharmacy industry. 

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

At LPU you can also pursue Bachelors of physiotherapy. The course consists of 4.5 years and the total time taken to complete the course is 4.5 years. The university also offers the program through lateral entry. Through lateral entry, the duration of the course is 3.5 years.

It is an undergraduate program where students are trained and taught methods & techniques to heal the human body naturally. 

LPU PG Admission 2024-25 

LPU has a wide variety of postgraduate courses with varying fields and disciplines like MAJMC, MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc, and many others. Candidates have to adhere to both merit and entrance criteria in order to get selected. They must complete graduation or bachelor’s degree with valid marks, and they also have to appear for the university entrance test, namely LPUNEST, and score qualifying marks. 

The university has opened the admission window for all prospective students, and the applications will be accepted till 31 July 2024. The fees for a master’s program at the university range from Rs 80000/- to Rs 2,00,000/-. The university also holds a placement record by placing its students in some of the top-tier organizations or companies with the highest package of Rs 3 crores.

Master’s of Business Administration (MBA)

31 July 2024 is the deadline to apply for LPU MBA Admission 2024-25. LPU Jalandhar has six different specialisations in its MBA programme, including general business analytics, international business, financial markets, hospital and health care management, and logistics and supply chain management.

Lovely Professional University offers a postgraduate degree in full-time mode. Candidates can also pursue the course via distance education. 

Master’s of Technology (MTech)

LPU offers the Master of Technology programme in 17 different specialisations, including aerospace engineering, CSE, and others. The course can be pursued in full-time mode. Students will be given admission to MTech programmes based on their LPUNEST/GATE  or CUET score.

The course highly focuses on providing in-depth technical skills and knowledge, which will help students get employment in sectors with lucrative salaries. 

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Masters of Computer Applications is a two-year postgraduate programme at LPU for BCA graduates. But, for candidates other than BCA graduates, the programme is 3 years. The programme emphasizes all the major branches of computer science, like IT, computer applications, and data structure. An MCA graduate can make a career as a software developer, engineer, system developer, and many more.

Master’s of Science (MSc)

LPU offers multiple specialisations, including economics, soil science, hotel management, clinical microbiology, etc., under the Master of Science program. The PG programme is 2 years long and divided into 4 semesters. 

Candidates with undergraduate degrees in the relevant field are eligible to apply for the course. Depending on their specialisation, candidates can look for career opportunities.

LPU PhD Admission 2024 

LPU has 68 different options to offer in the field of research. These PhD programmes can be pursued in full-time or part-time mode. Candidates wanting to pursue their PhD programme at a lovely professional university will have to appear for the LPU NEST exam. Based on their LPU NEST exam performance, the candidates will be shortlisted for the next interview round. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• All the interested candidates must have finished their postgraduate degree in their respective field of research with a minimum of a minimum of 55%  aggregate marks acquired. 
• Candidates in their 1 or 2 semesters of PG courses with 55% marks are also eligible to apply for the PhD programme at a lovely professional university. 
• Candidates coming from SC/ST/OBC-NCL or differently abled individuals will get a relaxation of five per cent marks. 

Selection Criteria 

• The candidates will be shortlisted based on LPUNEST score and Personal Interview conducted by the University.
