Online Application

Entrance exam

• Candidates wanting to study at Kamdhenu University are expected to sit for the GUJCET exam or any other state-level exam to get admitted to the university. The examination fee for GUJCET is Rs. 350/-.
• For master’s and PhD programs: The university conducts its entrance exam for master’s and Ph.D. programs, and students are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.

Once the deadline is surpassed, no applications will be accepted. After the application process, counselling sessions will take place for all the shortlisted candidates, and the seats will be allotted based on the merit list prepared by the university.

Bachelors of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. and A.H)

Kamdhenu University encourages bachelor’s degrees in veterinary science and animal husbandry. The undergraduate course is 5.5 years long and studies animal diseases, animal husbandry, and medical diagnostics.

Some career options that can be explored after completing the B.V.Sc. and AH are veterinary doctors, animal breeders, veterinary officers, veterinary surgeons, and many more. B.V.Sc. and AH can also pursue higher studies in their respective fields and become research scientists. 

Bachelor of Technology (Dairy Technology) (B.Tech. (DT))

Kamdhenu University offers a Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology program. This is a four-year undergraduate program that is divided into eight semesters.

The courses deal with dairy microbiology and engineering, cheese technology, and everything related to dairy technology. After completing the UG program, some career opportunities include dairy scientist, microbiologist, dairy nutritionist, and many more. 

Bachelor of Fisheries Science  (B.FSc)

Kamdhenu University offers all aspiring candidates a Bachelor of Fisheries Science undergraduate program. It is a four-year program divided into eight semesters.

It covers different aspects of fisheries science, like aquaculture, fish farming, fish breeding, and fisheries resource management. B.F.Sc. graduates can become fish export inspectors, field mill managers, marine scientists, aquaculture specialists, and others.

Kamdhenu University promotes various master’s courses, such as M.V.Sc. M.Tech. (Dairy Science), and M.F.Sc. across various disciplines. Candidates can apply for the courses on the university’s official website.

Kamdhenu University gives admission based on either a GUJCET exam score or an entrance exam score conducted by the university. The entrance exam score and academic performance are given 50:50 weight.

Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc)

Kamdhenu University PhD Admission 2025-26

At Kamdhenu University doctoral studies are encouraged for all aspiring candidates in the fields of fisheries, dairy, and veterinary science. Candidates must read the eligibility and selection criteria for the Ph.D. programme.

Candidates wanting to pursue a PhD program from Kamdhenu University must have a master’s degree in their respective discipline. 

Candidates must have scored 65% minimum marks or a 6.5 overall grade point average out of 10 acquired in the master’s program.

SC/ST, physically challenged candidates, and candidates sponsored by the government with minimum years of experience must have scored 60% or 6.0 overall grade point average in the master’s program. 

Selection Criteria 

• Kamdhenu University conducts entrance exams to shortlist candidates for the Ph.D. program. 
• The exam will last one hour and total 100 marks. The question paper will be based on the subjects taught at the master level.
