Students who want to apply for the Master’s level programmes are required to visit the official web portal of the university @presidencyuniversity.in. At Presidency University, students are offered all kinds of facilities, like a hostel, library, auditorium, and cafeteria.

M.Tech, MBA, and LLM are the master’s programmes available at Presidency University under the School of Management, engineering and Law. Admission to these courses is offered based on either national-level tests or university-level test scores. 

Students who are studying MBA and M.Tech programmes are eligible for AICTE PG Scholarships. The Presidency University (PU) has eighteen other scholarships to offer, including merit-based, Kendriya Vidyalaya, reserved categories, defence, sports and many others.

Master’s of Technology (M.Tech)

Presidency University PhD Bangalore Admission 2026

Presidency University encourages research studies in various fields, including engineering, sciences, management and commerce, social sciences, and humanities, across multiple specializations.

It is available in both part-time and full-time modes. Full-time scholars will be offered research fellowships up to Rs 70K monthly. 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria 

• Applicants must have passed a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks or must have acquired a 6.5 CGPA out of 10 in the relevant field. 
• For humanities students, a minimum of 55% marks are required in the master’s programme. 

Selection Criteria 

• The university will conduct an entrance exam and interview to shortlist applicants for the PhD programme. 
• Applicants with qualifications like SLAT/CSIR-UGC NET for JRF will not have to appear for the written entrance exam. 
• The weight of the written exam will be 40%, and a 20% weight will be given to the interview. 
• The remaining 40% weight will be given to previous academic performance.
