IPU BCA Admission 2025: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University or  IPU, is a renowned public university situated in Delhi. With an A++ accreditation by NAAC, the university focuses on providing quality education in multiple fields through more than 100 affiliated institutions. Many undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs are available at IPU in various disciplines. 

Along with a regular BCA program of 3 years, the university also offers diploma and honours degree programs in computer applications. BCA (Hons.) is a four-year undergraduate degree program.

What is the IPU BCA Admission Process 2025?

Online Admission Process

• For online applications, first open the IPU University website. The link to the official website: http://ipu.ac.in/
• Start by registering as a new user.
• Use the login details assigned to you to open your account. 
• Fill out the form and provide all the required supporting details and documents. 
• Further, pay the application fee of Rs 1,500/- and complete the form submission. 
• Keep a printout of the filled-out form for future reference. 
• If the candidate is not taking admission based on the CUET exam score, then appear for the CET exam on the scheduled date. 

Offline Admission Process

• First, all the interested candidates will have to download the form from the university website. 
• Fill in all the details carefully and attach supporting documents with the form. 
• Visit the desired affiliated institution for the offline form submission. 
• Enquire about the offline admissions and form submission process and submit the form.
• Pay the required amount in the prescribed manner.

Application form 

• All interested candidates can apply for the BCA program online and offline. The admission will be based on the marks scored in the common entrance test (GGSIPU CET) conducted by the university.
• The remaining vacant seats in the BCA program will be given to applicants based on their CUET score. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates seeking admission to the BCA program at IPU will have to pass higher secondary education with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Must have studied English, mathematics, and any computer-related subjects in 12th grade.

Entrance Exam

• A common entrance test (GGSIPU CET) is conducted by the university to screen candidates for various UG and PG programs. In order to be admitted to the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program at IPU, candidates must score valid marks.
