What is the LPU Admission Process 2025-26?

Online LPUNEST Application 

For candidates wanting to fill out application forms online you need to follow the given steps properly – 

• You have first to visit the university website. @lpu.in
• Explore the homepage and click on the “admissions” option. 
• Tap on the “apply now “ option and register yourself.
• Then start filling out the details asked on the form. 
• Upload all the required documents. 
• You have to choose the slot, venue, date and time for LPUNEST.
• Submit the required application fee online and continue.
• Download the admit card and carry it on the exam day. 

Offline LPUNEST  Application

Candidates who want to fill out the offline application form need to follow the given procedure- 

• You have to first go to the University campus
• Pay the required LPUNEST application form fee. 
• Read all the instructions carefully.
• Fill out the application form properly without making any mistake.
• Now you have to send your application form to the university address in a self-addressed envelope.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA)

LPU offers a Bachelor of Business Administration program in specializations like tourism & hospitality and airline & airport management and many more. 

The university also offers integrated BBA and MBA for interested individuals. The duration of the course is 4 years and it is divided into 4 semesters and 8 terms. 

Bachelor of Science (BSc)

Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate course provided by Lovely Professional University in specializations like film and TV production, design and multimedia, design & gaming and others. Candidates are free to choose their specializations according to their interests. 

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma)

B.Pharma is available at LPU for candidates wanting to make a career in the field of pharmacy. Pharmacy is an integral part of our healthcare industry. Throughout the course, the students will obtain comprehensive knowledge about the healthcare and pharmacy industry. 

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

At LPU you can also pursue Bachelors of physiotherapy. The course consists of 4.5 years and the total time taken to complete the course is 4.5 years. The university also offers the program through lateral entry. Through lateral entry, the duration of the course is 3.5 years.

LPU PG Admission 2025-26

There are a wide variety of postgraduate (PG) courses offered at LPU, including MAJMC, MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc, and many more. Candidates must meet both merit and entrance criteria to be selected.

They must complete graduation or a bachelor’s degree with valid marks. They also have to appear for the university entrance test, LPUNEST, and score qualifying marks.  

Lovely Professional University (LPU) university has opened the admission window for all prospective students, and applications will be accepted till 15 January 2025. The fees for a master’s program at the university range from Rs 80000/- to Rs 2,00,000/-.

Master’s of Business Administration (MBA)

15 January 2025 is the deadline to apply for LPU MBA Admission 2025-26. LPU Jalandhar has six different specialisations in its MBA programme, including general business analytics, international business, financial markets, hospital and health care management, and logistics and supply chain management.

Lovely Professional University offers a postgraduate degree in full-time mode. Candidates can also pursue the course via distance education.  

Master’s of Technology (MTech)

LPU offers the Master of Technology programme in 17 different specialisations, including aerospace engineering, CSE, and others. The course can be pursued in full-time mode. Students will be given admission to MTech programmes based on their LPUNEST/GATE  or CUET score.

The course highly focuses on providing in-depth technical skills and knowledge, which will help students get employment in sectors with lucrative salaries. 

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Masters of Computer Applications is a two-year postgraduate programme at LPU for BCA graduates. But, for candidates other than BCA graduates, the programme is 3 years. The programme emphasizes all the major branches of computer science, like IT, computer applications, and data structure.

Master’s of Science (MSc)

LPU offers multiple specialisations, including economics, soil science, hotel management, clinical microbiology, etc., under the Master of Science program. The PG programme is 2 years long and divided into 4 semesters. 

Candidates with undergraduate degrees in the relevant field are eligible to apply for the course. Depending on their specialisation, candidates can look for career opportunities.

LPU PhD Admission 2025-26 (Open) 

LPU has 68 different options to offer in the field of research. These PhD programmes can be pursued in full-time or part-time mode at LPU.

Candidates wanting to pursue their PhD programme at a lovely professional university will have to appear for the LPU NEST exam. Based on their LPU NEST exam performance, the candidates will be shortlisted for the next interview round. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• All the interested candidates must have finished their postgraduate degree in their respective field of research with a minimum of a minimum of 55%  aggregate marks acquired. 
• Candidates coming from SC/ST/OBC-NCL or differently abled individuals will get a relaxation of five per cent marks. 

Selection Criteria 

• The candidates will be shortlisted based on LPUNEST score and Personal Interview conducted by the University. 

LPU Entrance Exam 2025-26

The university conducts the entrance exam for various UG & PG courses to check the basic understanding and capability of the students. LPUNEST ( lovely professional University national entrance and scholarship test ).

The candidates must check their eligibility before applying for any course. the scholarship is provided to the student based on their score in the entrance exam. The candidates must complete 10+2 from a reputable board with good grades.

LPU NEST Application Form 2025

LPUNEST (lovely professional University national entrance and scholarship test) is conducted to check the basic capability of the students. A fresh registration process is currently in progress for the LPUNEST. The deadline to apply is 15 January 2025 for various UG and PG programmes.

The application form is available on the official website of the university and only the eligible candidates can appear for the entrance exam.

The application fee for the registration is INR 1000/- for girls and INR 1500/- for boys. The candidates must check their eligibility before applying to the university.
