Online Application Process

For candidates willing to apply online, here are all the steps that you need to follow:

• Go to the university’s official website. The link is here https://www.vmou.ac.in/
• As you enter the website, look for the “apply now” option and tap on it.
• Register yourself and make a new account.
• Log in with the help of the assigned login credentials. 
• Fill out the application form and apply for the course you are interested in.
• Upload all the scanned documents, pictures, and signatures. 
• Pay the application fee and submit the form. 
• Print out the application form and fee receipt for future reference. 

Offline Application Process

For all the candidates who want to apply offline, here are all the required steps you must follow carefully:

• Go to the university’s website.
• Download the application form and print it out.
• Fill out the form properly and thoroughly.
• Attach all the documents to the form and submit it.
• Pay the fee through a demand draft or in the prescribed way.

VMOU Admission 2024-25 (Will Soon Start)

10 August 2024 (tentative) is the deadline to complete the registration process for UG, PG, and other level programmes. Admissions at VMOU University take place in two cycles per year. The first cycle starts in January, and the second one starts in July.

The university conducts entrance exams for many programmes, such as MBA, MCA, MSc, B.Ed., and PhD programs. Previous academic performance is also taken into consideration for many other courses. Admissions for the M.Sc. course take place in the July cycle only.

VMOU University UG Admission 2024 

VMOU promotes several UG programmes, such as B.Sc., BA, B.Ed., etc. Admissions to these courses are based on previous academic performance. An entrance exam is conducted to shortlist students for the B.Ed. program. Since the university offers distance education to its students, students get all the study material sent to their home addresses. VMOU University PG Admission 2024 

Master’s courses like M.Sc., MBA, MCA, etc. are promoted at VMOU for all aspiring students. Admissions to these courses are offered based on a candidate’s performance in entrance exams conducted by the university. Scores of national-level exams are also considered for admissions. 

With the help of placement cells, students are also offered placement opportunities in various sectors. There is no data on placements, but in recent years, the highest package offered was INR 7.2 LPA, and the average package was recorded at INR 6 LPA. 

Around 60%–70% of students got an internship from VMOU. So hurry up and apply for courses at VMOU through distance learning. The tuition fee for the postgraduate program is approximately Rs 5,000—Rs 30,000/-. The fee structure changes according to the program choice.

An MBA graduate can make a career in management, sales, finance, healthcare, and other industries. 

Master’s of Science (M.Sc)

Masters of science are available under the Master’s degree programme at VMOU. Specializations are offered, including computer science, physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany. Candidates who have completed their B.Sc. degree from a recognised institute are eligible for the course in their specialization.

Master’s of Computer Applications (MCA) 

VMOU offers a Master of Computer Applications program for all candidates wanting to pursue this course. The university conducts an entrance exam to shortlist candidates for the course. The entrance exam consists of three sections with 30 questions each.

For every right answer, the candidates will be given one mark, and there will be no negative marking. Candidates can complete the course in a maximum of four years.

VMOU University Phd Admission 2024 

VMOU’s PhD programme includes multiple specializations under the PhD programme, including commerce, botany, English, geography, and economics. Candidates must read the eligibility and admission criteria before applying for the programme at VMOU. 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria 

All the interested candidates must hold a PG degree in their respective fields with all the relevant subjects. 

Candidates must have obtained 55% minimum aggregate marks in their masters.

Selection criteria 

• The candidates are shortlisted based on the written exam and interview.
